Today Daniel had his first swim lesson. His class had 4 budding olympic swimmers of which Daniel was the youngest by 2 years! At first he was so excited about being in the pool that he had a hard time listening but he got the gist finally and today they learned about kicking properly and blowing bubbles.
Of course, my cutie surprised the instructor when he was the only one to dunk himself right under and blow bubbles. He was by far the cutest kid there, if I say so myself!!
P.S. I'll update on his day school soon!

Yay Daniel!! No doubt that he's brave in the water!
Hopefully Mari will not pull her new trick of "but I'm too scared" when we start on Saturday.
Way to go Daniel! We are thinking about putting Liam in lessons at the YMCA next month. Keep us posted on his progress.
Isn't it so hard to sit there without reminding him to listen?? :-) I have to distract myself while Andrew is in lessons! Daniel definitely looks like a budding Olympian! :-)
Would you just look at all those bubbles! Great job Daniel!!!
Woohoo Daniel!! I want to put Small Fry in lessons maybe in the fall.
Yeah, Daniel! It is fun watching our kids take swim lessons, isn't it? The boys had some with our homeschool group from January through May. It was so fun to watch.
Great job Daniel...glad to hear he is doing great in swim lessons. Our Matthew is getting ready to start swim lessons at the YMCA in another week....we are excited to get him started. He loves going in the pool at our community pool but believe it or not, still does NOT like the bathtub....he only stands in the bathtub...wil not sit down but goes in the pool....don't get it...crazy kid!
He is such a cutie! Thanks for sharing, and hope that things go "swimmingly" there!
Daniel is growing up so fast. So sweet to see him being so brave with his head in the water. So glad he is enjoying swim lessons!!
How great is that!!! Max and Roman LOVE their swim lessons and it's so funny to watch them "feed" off of each other to do what the instructor says!!! Now if I could only get them to stop "drinking" the pool water!!!
That is so great that he's in swim lessons - You can tell he loves it and he is a natural!!
Have a great weekend!!
