Troy and I have never laughed so hard in our lives - we started out on the driveway - too slanted, sent him into the grass for a walking on skates expedition - you can see that went well. Next we tried our little sidewalk - that went well also. Lastly we took him inside - no pics posted of that but let's just say he decided skating was no fun and decided he wanted to jump in the skates - and he even landed one jump! Of course he's a boy so why should I have thought that he might actually like to skate instead of doing tricks already!!
In other news, I had him moved up at his daycare to the big boy 3's class. He was in a 2 Pre-K class, which held the younger 3's and older 2's as a transition room. However, one little boy was targeting Daniel and biting him constantly. Daniel's only there 3 days a week and after being bit twice last week (among previous weeks) I went in with guns blazing and told them either he gets moved, or we're outta there - no notice and no payment. Needless to say they moved him immediately and the 3's teacher said he was the best behaved child there yesterday (his first day) out of the regular class! Of course his 2's teachers hugged him a ton yesterday and this morning when I dropped him off too!
Lastly and this is a little bragging on my part - I got 28 pages of scrapbooking done on my girls night home by myself!! Daniel had a blast doing men's stuff and I had a blast having a quiet weekend at home! Thanks to my honey and Daniel's Granny and Grandpa for that!!!

Seriously?? 28 pages?? It takes me like 3 hours to do one page...and then I'm over it. I need to spend time with you "scrapping."
Love the roller-derby pix. Daniel is such a sweetheart!
I love the new blog background!!! Pictures of Daniel are too cute for words.... I'm preparing myself for little boy play ... just like you said .. why skate when you can jump!!

He is soooo cute!! Those pictures are great - He Does look like he's break dancing!!!
Great pics! I love it when we can laugh so hard at their antics.
Sounds like time well spent this weekend.
Wow, 28 pages?! I am so impressed. Wish I could pull that off, as I am way behind on our littest guy's baby book/scrapbook.
Glad to hear Daniel's transition to his new classroom is going so well, and I bet you are relieved with the switch. The roller skating photos are hilarious! Daniel clearly has moves!
Those pictures made me laugh out loud. Too funny.
Love the photos!! Good for you for going in with guns blazing to get him moved. How old is Daniel now??
Good for you for sticking to your guns! No excuse for a child to be biting or to be bitten. And, have you noticed? Our little guys from Russia all seem to be the best behaved well adjusted children of them all!! Probably because us Mama's and Daddy's spend so much time on that! Still not sure about the 18th. . .Pat's been working a lot because of the wind. . .
Those pictures are hilarious and yes, he does look like he is breakdancing. Too cute!
I'm impressed on your scrapbook progress (let me know when you are finished so you can work on mine)!
such fun pictures--you can tell he's having a blast, even though he's creating definite variations on "roller skating"! So glad to hear that things are going well
WOW! You are quite the scrapper!! That's amazing. LOVE the pictures -- it almost tells the story completely!!
Those pictures are too cute! It is hilarious watching them learn to skate. You should have seen it around here with all 3 of ours on rollerblades at the same time this spring!
Isn't it amazing how "Mama Bear" comes out so stunningly when someone is "messin" with our babies?!! Glad he made the transition well!
Wow, that is a lot of scrap-booking. Cool new look! What is with the biting thing. Jacob is biting too and I do not want him to be the lil one at school going after others kids. Glad to hear they moved Daniel. Great pics.

Cute skating pictures! And I'm glad you got his class worked out-we're just starting to deal with that (first incident report yesterday) and I hope it does not continue!
