Jerry Williams to our family. Jerry became a permanent member of our family Saturday as I finally officially adopted him!! He’s been in foster with us since last March and well, I just can’t give him up!! He’s come such a long way from being so terrified to now as my brother-in-law, Stephen, aptly said, “Cautious, but not scared.”
I sure the love the darn dog!! We are now at 3 dogs, 2 cats and I am forbidden to foster any more animals. I think Troy wants me to quit my weekend stints at the SPCA, but that’s not happening!! Thanks honey – for allowing yet another four legged baby into our home!!
Jerry chillin'
Jerry sleeping on Ruby - one eye always open to see what's happening!
On his dog bed (well, chair he adopted next to my side of the bed)

He's beautiful! Welcome Jerry! He looks like part Pitty Pit... We have a 1/2 Pit named Stefani. She's the sweetest angel on the planet.
Congrats on your newest addition. We're at 3 dogs and 2 birds so I completely understand how your house is run!
Aww what a lucky dog!!!
We always say you adopt as many children as one adopts animals!!!
YEY JERRY YEY!!! :-) I am so happy to hear that the adoption is final! He is such a cutie and believe me - he knows he's got it good! That one eye open is the "if she thinks I'm sleeping, she won't make me get down" look. I know it well! :-)
Welcome to the family Jerry!! I can completely understand. Before our son was born and even the first year, I was on a Friends Board that raised money for our local shelter. I would always go visit to take food, drop off aluminum cans, and give treats out (although I wasn't suppose to do that) and I fell in love so many times and wanted to adopt these sweet precious four legged babies. We have two dogs and keep my sisters cat (who my parents fostered for awhile) often, so I'm forbidden to adopt any more. If I do, Norman wants a Lab or Lab Mix. So, who knows what the future will hold as my little one loves dogs and so does my Russian little one (which by the way is translated as Sabaka in Russian). One of the few words we could understand on the puzzle that she would say which I think is also on the videos! Okay, enough rambling. Congratulations!!
Oh, what a cutie!! And what's 1 more 4-legged friend when you have a couple already, I say! hehehe
Congrats on your newest addition!
I love seeing dogs sleep together. We got Dottie from the shelter. I could not imagine being without her. Are you worried about when you travel or do you have a plan?

He's a cute little guy! Nothing makes a house a home like our four legged babies!!
TOO CUTE - I love him. Congrats on your new addittion!
Jerry and Ruby look good together!
You are an amazing person to me. I would find it easier to have 7 children than 7 pets. I love zoos and petting farms but mention pet ownership and I get as nervous as some people do about the thought of having children. My friend Gwen would totally get you though. She is in a rescue group and has oodles of shelties and other dogs she's adopted after fostering.
She even held a fundraiser at her house for Dima's adoption and had her dogs write a note to me saying that they would be on their best behaviour and would bark at any of the guests that didn't buy a lot. The dogs also stated that since all of them were adopted they were pleased to help out. Except her dog 'Chip' they informed me because he was 'store bought' and felt a little superior because of it. Gwen is a riot - she works on me all the time about getting a pet for our kids. So far, we are beta fish people - and that was a big step for us!
Congratulations on the new addition to your family!
Oh he is so cute! Congrats on your new addition!
