I have a tricycle we push and he can keep his feet on the pedals but wasn't able to do anything about that. Now he has watched another child a little older than him pedal and I think it's starting to click. Maybe the peer encouragement will help. Good Luck, but then again, once he gets going... watch out!the Horvathshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04491999420778090678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-140034305470054536.post-61851350198121808182008-10-07T21:03:00.000-07:002008-10-07T21:03:00.000-07:00He sounds so smart to be saying "bicycle." Let us know if you figure something out; sounds like there are several with this problem.Dedehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00087015457137837885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-140034305470054536.post-10485863797152521652008-10-07T09:55:00.000-07:002008-10-07T09:55:00.000-07:00Dmitry also loves his bike. Right now, if he likes a suggestion he repeats it and if he doesn't he answers, 'Nooo-ah'. I asked about a veterinarian, nooo-ah. I asked about a pilot, noooo-ah. Then a mechanic? 'mAnn-ic'! Either he was calling his mother a name (which I may deserve that particular title from time to time) or it is as I suspected ... he would make an AWESOME mechanic!Dan and Alicia Marlowehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00459706450212905274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-140034305470054536.post-42893263843012684862008-10-07T06:42:00.000-07:002008-10-07T06:42:00.000-07:00P.S. We just kept showing both how to turn the pedals, but we also spent time just pushing them around too. My back is killing me after he's been on the bike for 15 minutes from trying to help him keep his feet on. Do they still make those straps for the peddles like we had while we were little?? So glad daycare is going so well - you'll love getting the artwork and they you'll wonder what the heck to do with it all! :-)Becky and Keithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03953811630213889794noreply@blogger.com
